BOC to Offer Certified Mastectomy Fitter Exam at 2018 POWER Symposium

For the first time, BOC is offering its Certified Mastectomy Fitter (CMF) exam during the 2018 POWER Symposium in Las Vegas, Nevada, affording attendees the convenience of taking the exam while at the Symposium. POWER (Providing Opportunities for Wellness, Education & Renewal) is an annual event that offers continuing education sessions on women’s health and wellness, Medicare and billing, business best practice workshops and more.

A nationally recognized resource, BOC was the first credentialing organization to offer this certification and has certified more than 3,000 mastectomy fitters to date. BOC CMFs are recognized professionally as having completed a rigorous education and training program that satisfies industry standards and enhances the patient experience.

Following successful completion of the exam and other requirements, professionals will receive their CMF credential. From mastectomy boutique owners to individuals working as mastectomy fitters, this certification can enhance both organizational and personal objectives.

The BOC CMF exam will be held March 1, 4:00 – 6:00 pm at the POWER Symposium venue, Planet Hollywood. Attendees taking the exam can save $50 on the exam fee. To qualify, applications and documentation must be submitted to BOC in advance of the event.
