“BOC’s award is a meaningful tradition that celebrates the skills, dedication and impact of BOC certificants,” said Judi Knott, MA, MBA, CAE, BOC president and CEO. “As we reflect on more than 40 years of credentialing excellence, we are proud to continue this recognition program by honoring certificants who exemplify the values that define this important profession and strengthen the communities they serve.”
The BOC Certificant of the Year Award is open to any BOC-certified professional in good standing in any of BOC’s six certification areas (DME Specialist, Mastectomy Fitter, Orthotic Fitter, Orthotist, Pedorthist or Prosthetist). Nominees should demonstrate exceptional service to patients, notable achievements in research, commitment to giving back to the community and/or outreach to developing countries or other underserved areas.
BOC will accept nominations online at www.bocusa.org/certificant-of-the-year through June 15, 2026. Nominations can be submitted for a colleague, coworker or industry professional.
