Continuing Education Course Approval

BOC Continuing Education (CE) Course Approval is a powerful tool for CE course providers to market and promote their programs. Courses approved by BOC are included in our directory of available courses for the convenience of our  certificants, and providers are entitled to market approved courses as “BOC-Approved.”

To register your course(s) for BOC-Approved status:

Note: If you have previously registered courses this year and are registering additional courses, complete step three only.

  1. Review the CE Approval Document for the requirements for course providers.
  2. Complete and submit the CE Provider Course Application and Agreement Form along with the processing fee (for new providers only).
  3. Complete the Approved CE Course Registration Form for each course you wish to register. (If you are registering more than one course, you may provide the total payment on one form.)

The course provider must submit to BOC copies of required course records that document attendance at registered courses by BOC certificants. All submitted course records must take the form of an Excel document (see example), which includes, at a minimum, the following information: the course title and completion date; the name(s) of the BOC certificant(s) who completed the course; and, the number of credit hours awarded.

While BOC identifies eligible CE opportunities to our certificants, BOC does not provide, sponsor, accredit, endorse, or recommend educational or training activities or programs, nor does BOC require certificants to earn CEUs by attending courses registered in the BOC-Approved CE Course Program.

Nonprofit organizations are exempt from all fees and must submit an IRS determination letter, which shows your nonprofit status.
