DME Offerings from BOC

Accreditation. Certification. Confidence For All.

Experience the BOC Difference.

BOC offers accreditation for suppliers of durable medical equipment/home medical equipment (DME/HME). Health care providers order DME/HME for everyday or extended use. Products may include but are not limited to oxygen equipment, wheelchairs, off-the-shelf orthotics, crutches, hospital beds, and more.

By credentialing your practice and becoming a durable medical equipment certified professional, you can provide DME to your community —and assure quality care and compliance—with CMS-Deemed Accreditation and DME Specialist Certification from BOC.

Accredit Your Business

Add Durable Medical Equipment (DME) to your business offerings with CMS-Deemed accreditation.

Simply submit your application, and a BOC specialist will guide you through the process including product category selection and site survey preparation. Achieving accreditation ensures 100% compliance with CMS standards. You can now start providing complete care to patients and open new doors for referral sources, along with public and private payer relationships.

Become a DME Specialist

Add a Certified DME Specialist (CDME) to your business by certifying yourself or a member of your staff.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a verifiable minimum of 500 hours (approximately 13 weeks of full-time work) of documented experience at a DME facility before applying to take the exam. The exam can be taken online. Certified DME specialists are highly valued in the industry as an assurance to patients and as trusted sources of professionalism and quality care.
