American Association of Breast Care Professionals (AABCP)AABCP is a member driven national advocacy organization for post mastectomy professionals. It is the only post mastectomy association within the United States and is recognized by Medicare, state orthotic and prosthetic licensing bodies, state associations, accrediting and certifying agencies, insurances companies and affiliated with numerous DMEPOS and Healthcare organizations.

American Breast Care: American Breast Care offers mastectomy training programs for ABC-manufactured post-mastectomy products, designed to improve patient quality of life.

Amoena: Amoena manufactures a variety of products for post-breast surgery care, including prostheses, bras, and post-surgical products. Fit Specialist Seminars prepare fitters to provide Amoena products based on the specific procedures that a client has undergone during breast surgery.

Anita: Anita is a manufacturer of breast prosthetics, and we are dedicated to teaching the art and science of fitting post-mastectomy survivors, and passing along important industry information to our retailers.

B*FRIN: B*FRIN, which stands for Being Fitted Right Is Necessary, is focused on education for medical professionals and breast cancer survivors on post-mastectomy care. In addition, they provide access to breast-cancer-related items and services, including specialized bras, breast prostheses, and lymphedema supplies. Along with their fitting video, their certified mastectomy fitters offer beginner and advanced fitter training and educational programs to their authorized retailers around the world.

O&P Education: O&P Education offers entry-level courses on the scope of care provided by certified orthotic fitters and certified mastectomy fitters. Continuing education courses are also offered for all O&P disciplines and DMEPOS suppliers. Part of the course is available online.

Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology (OSUIT): The Orthotic & Prosthetic Technologies program at OSUIT teaches students about the design, fabrication, and fitting of prosthetics and orthopedic devices. OSUIT offers training for mastectomy and orthotic fitters. 

St. Petersburg College: St. Petersburg College J. E. Hangar College of Orthotics and Prosthetics is a leader in orthotics and prosthetics training and is the largest provider of continuing education for healthcare professionals among all Florida State Colleges. St. Petersburg offers training for entry-level mastectomy fitters who provide breast prostheses and post-mastectomy items and services.

Pedorthic Footcare Association: PFA represents the pedorthic profession within the healthcare arena. Through the association, pedorthists extend their knowledge in order to better manage and alleviate problems caused by disease, overuse or injury. Online course available.

Pedorthic Footcare Association (Canadian Chapter): PFA Canada is a self-regulatory body which upholds, monitors, and supports the competent and ethical practice of their Certified Pedorthist members. Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America: RESNA is a professional society for individuals and organizations interested in technology and disability.RESNA contributes to the public welfare through scientific and educational activities. BOC Approved CE Opportunities

When you satisfactorily complete a BOC-approved CE course, the CE provider will report your participation directly to BOC to be counted toward your continuing education unit (CEU) requirements. As a certified professional, you are ultimately responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your CEU record. Be sure to keep a record of your successfully-completed CE activities on file for the duration of each CE Cycle.
